香港：創意生態 / 上海之旅

上海回來一直沒時間更新。來一個總括吧。

第一天到達上海展覽會場後，立即跟JASON放好MICRO-SYMPHONY的裝置。

第二天就已經是開幕禮了。下午做完媒體訪問後，跟HENRY不停地試玩IPAD。開幕表演的試驗演出總算成功!

第三天跟上海讀藝術設計的學生分享作品，也跟香港及上海的設計團體交流一下。

最後跟學生做了一個短WORKSHOP。

今次主題是插畫跟新媒體設計。香港參予的設計師有阿南、JOHN、TOBY、KINGSLEY 同 HENRY。上海有SUPERNATURE和雷磊。

之後三天的就是自由的上海之旅，去了SUPERNATURE的STUDIO,讚!去了Francis的O.WW，很舒服的一間WOOD HOUSE。當然去了世博，不過是惡夢，連最想看的沙地都是大型投射拼接，零內容。反而韓國的短片做得很有心思! 還是在上海走一轉好。之後去了電子中心，跟JASON買了些電子用品，平得很!

國產真的很平。

最後一天去了M-50，藝術品比較實在。有一些有趣的畫廊。接著，晚上回香港。因為黑雨的關係，飛機延遲了五小時。回來已經是四時，明早還接著另一個設計的項目拍攝…夠辛苦。

(小插曲: JASON 買錯了早上的機票，還在機場等後補。哈哈!)

MICRO-SYMPHONY / Opening Performance

A little post back for our exhibition “Micro-Symphony” opening performance.

We played a 15-min set with 3 pieces. The pieces are site-specific and all sample are taken from Hong Kong Park.

This is our first time collaboration with Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre.

「新媒體劇場實驗室 – 形．感互動」計劃 / Experimental Workshop

I am going to host some workshops in HKICC (Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity). The workshops will mainly cover some simple experiment in micro-controller + sensors. There will be some assignments need to deal with Max/Msp and maybe Ableton Live.

3D head scan for the VIM first 12″ EP

It is really come to the final stage of our album making. Our first 12″ EP is going be launched this summer. The final mix is sending to UK for mastering and production. We are really looking forward to the sounding!

Let’s get back to the topic. Our album art is going to use a new technology for the process. We did a 3D scan of our head in XEX studio, this is the testing image. With the help of Jason (mb09) at XEX. The image is going to be different by some code modification. The VJ footages are also used in our previous show which hosted by “Time Out Magazine”.

The image is still in testing stage. Let me post up some final product later!

We are really proud of you, you and you. Thanks all for supporting in our music, our limited album and this meaningful project.
We have donate all 50pcs disc ($2500) to Hong Kong Red Cross (Qinghai Earthquake 2010). This is not a big amount of money. We do hope this could help the people!

We sold 36pcs disc in total. Still 14pcs to go. If you still want to get involve in this project. Please let us know.
