Rubbish’s ID is my new sonic-interactive work that re-invent a barcode scanner into a musical instrument. I picked up rubbish and cut out their barcode, then covert their reading into some algorithmic tone. Then Korg KP3 is my sampling tools to chain-up all these unique generative sounds.
* Here is the exhibition setup and opening for the show (Anthony Wong play with the barcode scanner) :)~

Back from Sabah for few days, already back from crazy workload…HK is a really bad place to stay.
After climbing up the highest mountain in South-East Asia, see through the most beautiful deep blue sea in Sabah, I hope I can still stay there for a while.
The work “The happiness of the fish / v.1″ is awarded for 14th ifva interactive media category.
Thanks for coming and supporting again Here is the video archive for the exhibition at 4/F Pao Galleries, Hong Kong Art Center.
Say good-bye to Hall, a lots memory there. Anyway, I am looking forward to more good production here!
I am now preparing portfolio as well as the new project(s). Hope all things smooth here. Cheers.
Previously, I uploaded a demo music for the MvA. Today the animation is going to be screened.
The music is originally composed for a toy company, it didn’t launch for some reasons. It was a midi piece and I transcribed it into a sampler version, sounds a lot better
